Using This Team Network Website
How to get the most out of the new Team Network website
There's a great deal of information here. We are all about meshing technology and personal experience – part of our Networking Business... with Pleasure approach. This website is chock-full of useful information and new tools to enhance your experience and give you more reasons to visit our site. While we've tried to organize it as clearly as possible, you might need a bit of an overview.
We've categorized our large amounts of information into main navigation sections - home, about the teams, team pages, networking tools, contact, member area. Just mouse over the main navigation and the submenus magically appear.
About the Team
If you are a visitor to Team Network for the first time and are curious about what makes us unique among business networking organizations, then this is a great place to start. Simply mouse over "about the team" and dig in. Here you will learn how things work in Team Network and what benefits one can expect being a member.
Members Log In
Are you are a current member? You will want to click on the member login tab at the right of the purple navigation bar to log in. Once in, notice that the heading changes to "member area." There are many activities that only members in good standing will be able to access on the site while in "members area" mode. To Log Out: Go to the member area page and at the bottom right column is “Logout”.
There is a handy list of one-click application tools along the top – Classifieds; Event Calendar; Photo Gallery; Team Talk; Start a New Team; and Sign up Now. Below are brief descriptions of each application.
Have a piano to sell? Tickets to a game that you suddenly need to dump? Know of a super deal you want to share with your Team? Hosting a table at a trade show you want to announce? Have a job position to fill? Want to brag about a fellow Teammate who treated you right? Now you can come to one central hub to post and visit – just follow the prompts. A smart feature here is: as soon as a member makes a post on any subject in the Classifieds, an automatic email is broadcasted out to that individual's Team! Note: You must be logged in as a member to post classified ads or announcements.
Click on the Calendar of Events button to check your Marty date as well as all other events your fellow Teammates have posted. Please be sure you are logged in before RSVPing to Martys. Put up on your Team Calendar any appropriate dates for events you wish to invite other Team Members to attend. It is easy to do – just follow the prompts. Note: You must be logged in as a member to post events.
The photo gallery is a place members post and view photos! That's right... you can now post your own photos! Take a camera with you everywhere you go. Are you meeting a Team Member for a 1-on-1? Document it with a picture. Catch another member on the job? Snap a pic and post it here. Both human interest and Team-related subjects can be posted here, and the more the better. We want more than just Marty pictures – just not the whole family vacation album please! ;-) It is easy to do – just follow the prompts. Note: You must be logged in as a member to post photos.

am Talk is a place where multiple Team Members can carry on dialog all at the same time. you know... a string of replies to follow along. Multiple discussions can be going on concurrently and you can join in and make a comment anytime when you see a topic that you like. Or, you can start your own discussion. Think of it as an ongoing tweet!
Team Talk saves a lot of email logistics and reduces “mailbox clog”, so more creative thought flow ensues. Note: You must be logged in as a member to START a discussion but a ANYBODY can join in a Team Talk string.
So... you think you have what it takes to start a new Team Network from scratch? Or maybe you know someone who might wish to start a new group in their area. Great – just click this icon to submit a request, and Team Network will make the contact as soon as possible to go over the details of what it takes to start a new Team. We are looking to grow!

Note: Only sign-up after you have spoken with the Team Network home office or a qualified representative of Team Network. In order to proect the exclusivity rights, etc. new members must be accepted into a specific Team in order to protect the integrity of all the Teams. Once approved, it is easy to sign up – just fill out the form!
Team Pages
Each Team has its own page where you can view a business and personal profile of each member. Huge benefits in this section are two powerful referral tools: the Print Referral Slip and the new Forward Profile to a Friend. Each offers a simple, convenient and professional way to get in the habit of referring Team Members when appropriate. We even find these profiles showing up organically in Google Searches.
Social Medias
Our Social Media expert Linda Schenk of Social Media Works is creating and managing our Team Blog – look for more information to come regarding all the features, benefits and trainings to come. We’ll be asking for your participation in this area, as all the future activity here will promote everyone’s business!

Can't Remember a Last Name? Someone's Team? Their Company Name? Try using the Search Engine box on the right side of the purple menu bar. Simply plug in the information you do know and click "Go". The search is as specific as you are, so if you're not sure if you want "John" or "Jonathan", just enter "Jo".
Want to see a list of the members by Team? By Category? Or maybe an alphabetized by Company? It's easy when you use the website's "Networking Tools."
Get Exposure and See Your Testimonial and Networking Story
Want to see your "Testimonial" regarding your Team Network experience on the website? These testimonials will randomly show up on the left as you explore around the site. You'll find "Submit a Testimonial" under the Networking Tools menu option.
Has Team Network made a difference in your business or your life? We will reward you with great exposure on this website for your great "Networking Stories!" You'll find "Submit a Network Story" in the member area after you log in.
