Gwenlynn W. D'Souza is an attorney practicing
primarily in the areas of employment law and estate planning. Ms.
D’Souza has been dedicated to providing professional legal
services to clients in Montgomery County, Maryland since 1996.
Ms. D'Souza is experienced in many areas of litigation,
including:
- Employment
discrimination,
- Wage
collection,
- Breach
of contract,
- Personal
injury, and
- Guardianship.
Ms. D'Souza has represented clients before administrative,
trial, and appellate courts.
Aside from litigation, Ms. D’Souza counsels clients on
matters regarding:
- Business
formation,
- Employment
agreements,
- Financial
planning,
- Estate
planning, and
- Elder
law matters, including the processing Medicaid applications
for long-term nursing home stay.
Because
of her fluency in Spanish, Ms. D’Souza often counsels
Spanish-speaking clients on legal matters.
Ms. D'Souza is a member of the State of Maryland Bar
Association since 1996 and a member of the District of
Columbia Bar since 1997. Ms. D'Souza is also a member of the

Ms. D'Souza was nominated as a Bar Leader of the Montgomery
County Bar Foundation in 2001.
Ms. D'Souza is a former Associate of the Montgomery County Inns
of Court and is a former associate of John E. Scheuermann, PC and
Farber Taylor, LLC. Ms. D'Souza is an approved mediator for the
Montgomery County Office of Human Rights and the Circuit Court for
Montgomery County, Maryland in employment law cases.
