Requirements
Participation:Members are expected to maintain a certain level of participation throughout the year. There is one primary meeting (Marty) per month, which takes place in the evening from 6:30 to 8:30. Members are renewed by invitation each year. Regular attendance is one consideration in order to be invited to renew one's membership. Other considerations are quality of service, responsiveness, Team-player attitude, and whether there has been a pattern of complaints, absenteeism from Martys, and other negative feedback.
Accountability:The backbone of the Team Network concept is accountability, not only to one another but to the Team Network corporate office. All Team members are pre-screened and interviewed before joining, and commit to the group's high standards and goals. Because the members do so much business with one another, there is a system of quality business "checks-and-balances" that takes place quite naturally. If complaints are heard about the services of a particular member and these complaints are considered serious and/or they occur with too much frequency, that member is not invited to continue as a Team member in good standing and is removed from the roster.
Commitment:The success of each Team depends upon the efforts of its members. Each Team is made up of various business categories from A-to-Z, i.e.; Accountant; Bank; Carpet; Dentist; Electrician; Florist; Graphic Designer; etc., but only one of each category in any given Team. All new members are pre-screened for non-competing service category, and for a favorable reputation of quality, dependability and personal service. Potential members are then interviewed to see if they have a genuine enthusiasm for helping their Team be successful. Finally, new members are coached to network successfully and take full advantage of what the Team Network has to offer.
Your First Step
It is easy to discuss over the phone where there are openings for any particular business category and which Team may be the best choice to join.
